Bones of the Tarvox
Hmm, I need Tarvox bones. So many people want these and I'm fresh out. Bring me Tarvox bones and I'll split the profits with you. I get my bones around Icy Lake, frozen in the ice. I'll pay you if you bring me 20. Deal? End:Collector Lieto (Tarian) You don't understand why I need these bones, do you? Let me explain. For Bone Collectors, the completed Tarvox skeleton is the holy grail of all skeletons. |
Reward:
|
The Warmest Coat
It's so cold... Times like these, people need warm coats. Especially Tarvox coats. Bring me 30 pelts, I'll make coats for parents, children, I'll make coats for everyone. They might smell, but frost burns hurt. End:Armor Trader Karino (Tarian) Furs this thick are really valuable, especially during winter. I'd better get to work. |
Reward:
|
Karunta's Ball of Fur
For hides this thick, normal thread won't do. We need something stronger. You probably saw Karuntas wandering around the Tarvox herds; Karunta Fur should be perfect. Bring 20 Karunta Fur Balls to Scroll Trader Ella. She knows her way around threads. End:Scroll Trader Ella (Tarian) You brought great fur and all, but why did you bring it in little balls? Huh? Karino needs thread? Oh, well then let's see. |
Reward:
|
Completing the Coat
Of course my Skeins are of the highest quality. The absolute highest. This was made especially for Karino, bring it directly to him. It's almost too perfect to give away... oh, well. End:Armor Trader Karino (Tarian) Ella sure knows her thread! |
Reward:
Acimad's, Golden Bephon's, Durahan's, |
Trapped in Ice
Molohk is the Lakin god of richness and fertility. The Lakin worshipped the ice statue peacefully, that was their problem. The Tairen, on the other hand, worshipped violently. Long story short, the Tairen invaded, tortured the villagers, burned the buildings and dragged the statue of the god to the Icy Lake. Now demons roam the countryside. It's past time we took action, but we need Molohk's help. Awaken Molohk with this Helping Hand. When Molohk rises, his power will be slow in returning. Help him, hopefully he'll help you back. End:The Great Statue of Molohk (Tarian) Who dares awaken me? |
Reward:
|
Molohk's Test
Demons, you say? Alas, I am cursed to inhabit this form. Would you be the instrument of my wrath? Wear the mantle of my power into battle. Make mountains of their corpses and rivers of their blood! End:The Great Statue of Molohk (Tarian) They made demons in my form? Would the day come where the curse is finally removed. Until then, my worshippers shall be my fists. |
Reward:
Acimad's, Golden Bephon's,Durahan's, |
Venal Destruction
You must kill those Venal Karuntas. I want them dead, all of them. Start with 20, then we'll see how things go. End:Armor Trader Karino (Tarian) Good. Spoiled things should die, obviously. |
Reward:
|
Yeti Attack!
The Bloodhorns are attacking! Every time their numbers swell, they tear through their food supply. Don't you know what Bloodhorns eat? People! We've caught 'em lurking around our roads. Who knows how many travelers they've taken... If you don't kill 20 Bloodhorn Juveniles, 20 Bloodhorn Matriarchs and 20 Bloodhorn Patriarchs, we could all end up in the pot. End:Scroll Trader Ella (Tarian) Wow, I thought they'd be using your ribs as toothpicks... That was great! |
Reward:
|
A Cruel Message
Sites of the most savage violence attract creatures of pain and rage. We call them Seekers of Suffering. Not only are they dangerous, the Seekers act as spies and messengers for the forces of darkness. I'll make this short, we need your help. Kill 30 Seekers of Suffering. Kill them in the daytime, unless you want a challenge, hmm? They fly in the moonlight. End:Soldier Lux (Tarian) You made it! Brave and resourceful, huh? |
Reward:
|
Military Aid
You're the one we've been hearing about? Really? Huh. Well, we need more troops at the border. Go see Border Guard Onian. The Border Guards are all that stand between us and invasion. See Onian, quickly now. End:Border Guard Onian (Tarian) Lux is sending reinforcements? 'Bout time. |
Reward:
|
The First Wave
The Demonic army's encamped farther up this road. There are three checkpoints, heavily guarded. We think they're massing for another attack, but it's all we can do to hold our ground. Damn things breed like maggots... Our best chance is to destroy their supplies. They have a hard time making weapons, maybe we can turn that to our advantage. Go to the first checkpoint. Kill the Bashers and the Arrow Fodder Okvan. Bring back their weapons. Let's see how well they fight barehanded. End:Border Guard Onian (Tarian) These weapons are blunt, worn down. Blunted on the flesh of my friends... The demons will pay! They'll pay in spades! |
Reward:
|
The Second Wave
With all this backup, we'll be able to defend the city, no problem. Now it's the time to bring the fight to the enemy! Go to the 2nd Demon Checkpoint and take out the Bellysplitter Okvan. Kill their instructors, watch confusion breed in the ranks. End:Border Guard Onian (Tarian) Now's the time to strike! |
Reward:
|
The Final Wave
We're finally prepared for our attack. Guess what? You get to be our vanguard, lucky you. Go to the 3rd Demon Checkpoint and kill those disgusting Okvan. Start with the chain of command; kill Hackboss Okvan and his Grokchoppers. Once they're disorganized, we'll charge in and slaughter the rest. End:Border Guard Onian (Tarian) Whew. I guess we won't have to worry about those Demons spreading. |
Reward:
Acimad's, Golden Bephon's,Durahan's, |
Scout the Demonic Camp
You knew the Demon Camp used to be our mine, right? Up for a little infiltration? Maybe some sabotage? I have a Border Guard Spy in the Demon Camp, find him and bring me his report. End:Border Guard Spy (Tarian) Shhh! Onian sent you? Why the hell did he send a rookie? |
Reward:
|
Stealing Supplies
We're moving on to the Demon Camp. According to reports, the Demon Camp is responsible for most of the Tairen Army's weapons. That camp is full of weapons-grade ore. We need those minerals much more than they do, so you're going to steal them. Get in there and bring back 20 mineral extractions. End:Border Guard Bellum (Tarian) There's something poetic about using their own gear against 'em... |
Reward:
|
Aleaof the Royal Guard
You've done everything I asked, and you did it with flying colors. Why don't you deliver the report? Tell Alea of the Royal Guard everything. She needs to know our status, and that of the demons. End:Alea of the Royal Guard (Tarian) The Border Guard still stand? The Demonic Army's in chaos!? This is great news! We gave you an impossible task with no training, and you succeeded beyond our wildest dreams. |
Reward:
|
Abattoir of the Damned
We know there's an Abandoned Demon Disposal Facility around here. Any demons too old, infirm, mutated or crazed are chained together and sent there to die. It was only a matter of time before they revolted, claiming that unholy place as their own. We need to clear out the abattoir, before the damned things organize. First things first, we're taking the entrance. Look for the place where crows gather, that should be it. Find the Seekers of Darkness and kill them. 30 or so should give us a foothold to take the rest of the facility. End:Alea of the Royal Guard (Tarian) You did it? Good. Now we can clear out that Demon Disposal Facility. |
Reward:
Acimad's, Golden Bephon's,Durahan's, |
Stench of a Ghoul
Cough, cough. These Ghouls stink something terrible. They feast on the bloated, rotting corpses, spreading filth and corruption wherever they go. The air is so foul, we're getting deathly ill. We can't even keep our food down! If you really did come here to help, kill them... Ughh... I don't think we can last much longer. End:Alea of the Royal Guard (Tarian) That god-awful smell got a little better. Hoo, I think I can breathe again... |
Reward:
|
Return Alive
Take this Spy Report to Onian. They're making weapons in our old boiler, the giant one. Don't look so scared, rookie. Suck it up, you've got a job to do. End:Border Guard Onian (Tarian) The boiler? I figured as much. |
Reward:
|
Tank Demolition
How do we stop Tairen weapon production? Stealing their ore's good and all, but we really need to destroy their infrastructure. Go to the Demon Camp and make the Iron Tanks useless. We need to cut off their supplies completely. End:Border Guard Bellum (Tarian) We should strike now, before they replace those Tanks... |
Reward:
|
Stealing Demonic Gear
There's a lot of things we can use in that camp. Starting with some of those weapons. Their smiths are making surprising advances in armaments, I need samples. Bring me 10 Fine Quality Weapons and 10 Fine Quality Armors. End:Border Guard Bellum (Tarian) Oh, no. They're getting better at this. If the demons keep this up, they'll surpass our own weapon smiths. We need to study these designs. Note:To complete this quest kill Bruggs and Trained Bruggs. |
Reward:
|
Garbage Disposal
Now we can get to the demons in the abattoir itself. Get in there and kill 30 Puckwudgie Pranksters, 30 Bleached Tlann and 30 Bubonic Tlann. Leave nothing alive. End:Alea of the Royal Guard (Tarian) No matter how many troops we send, we never get them all. I worry they might outlast us. |
Reward:
Golden Baphon's Shield or Raven's Wing |
Gigantic Norg
Some of these demons are too much for you to handle on your own. We call them Crusted Norg. They're large, smelly and indescribably dangerous. I strongly recommend bringing friends, preferably slow ones. End:Alea of the Royal Guard (Tarian) You survived the Norg? You killed them!? Do you have any idea how long I've been trying to kill them? This is great news! |
Reward:
Acimad's, Golden Bephon's,Durahan's, |
