The recent Oshi No Ko chapter might be the calm before the storm, that’s headed our way. The chapter is more on the positive side of things with Aqua coming to a new conclusion about the future that lies ahead. This conclusion arrives in the form of a choice that he needs to make. A choice that can potentially put Kana in danger.

Oshi No Ko Chapter 150 Recap
Oshi No Ko Chapter 150 begins with Aqua standing in a wide black space, he looks around to find Gorou sitting on the floor beside a door. Right by his side, there’s a knife on the floor covered in blood.
- Aqua asks him if he’s not going to tell Aqua to seek revenge this time. Given how Gorou has always asked him to seek revenge on whoever killed Ai by stabbing the murderer repeatedly with the knife.
- Gorou says that he had always thought that he lost everything. The people he loved were no longer in his reach. It was so sad and frustrating that he began to live for revenge.
- But he realised that Sarina is living her life and dreams as Ruby. She’s smiling free of the illness from her previous life.
It was the greatest salvation he could get. Aqua agrees with Gorou. He then goes on to say that he won’t be around for longer as he has already gotten his reward.
He says that he’ll just become an old faint wound that Aqua would occasionally remember. He presents Aqua with a choice of what he can do moving forward. Aqua looks at him with black stars in his eyes. Either he can choose to kill Kamiki or live his life with the girl he likes.
The girl Aqua likes
The tension in Gorou’s voice dies down as he goes on to say that he’ll never let Aqua make a move on Sarina as she’s too good for a playboy like him.
- Aqua calls him overprotective; then tells him that she likes Gorou and sees a reflection of him in Aqua.Whereas Aqua Hoshino is her twin brother, and to him she’s his only precious sister and that’s it.
- After a moment of silence, Gorou asks Aqua about Kana. Aqua gets flustered and asks why he’s bringing Kana up.Gorou responds by saying that simply because his feelings towards Kana are appropriate for his age.
- He goes on to praise Kana by saying that even though she’s arrogant, she’s a hardworker. Despite having a sharp tongue, she’s quite sensitive herself.
He mentions how Aqua has always liked Kana’s strong and straightforward gaze, to which Aqua agrees. He tells Aqua that she’s also interested in him and he’s bound to succeed if he makes a move. Aqua snaps at Gorou.
Gorou tells him that it’s now all up to him. He can step down from his role as Gorou Amamiya and he’s now free to like someone. Handing over the knife to him, he says that it’s all up to him how he uses it. Aqua gets up from his dream.
Kana’s Feelings
Next we see Kana at her apartment. She thinks about her meeting with Akane where she turned down her help. Back then Akane responded by saying that she might change her mind and get back with Aqua as she wants to spend Christmas with a boy. She says that she hates how Akane said exactly what she didn’t want to hear.
She wonders what will happen if she starts dating Aqua. She looks back to the time when she first met Aqua at the set. She hated him but even then she thought he was cute. She never forgot him and then met him again at school after years. At that time she thought he was the same as her, tightly clinging on to the world.
He always worked hard and put himself in Kana shoes to understand her and support her. The rival he had been chasing since childhood was cool and wonderful. She remembers the joy she felt when she first realized that she loved him.
Kana receives a text
Kana wonders if he understands her, if he also looks at her earnestly. She questions if Aqua has any interest in her even if for different reasons than her. If he does, then she wants him to accept him. We see Aqua picking up his phone.
And then Kana receives a text from him asking if she’s free on Saturday. We see a beautiful panel of Kana holding the phone as the realization hits her that she loves Aqua and the chapter ends.
Is the best girl in danger?
As feel good as this chapter was, the meeting between Aqua and Kana could mean anything. It’ll be fortunate if the meeting happens as we know that Hikaru has been lurking around. Kana Bros should be prepared to throw hands incase the need to protect the best girl presents itself. That aside, this might be another moment where Aqua decides to live a normal life but something completely shakes him up.
Similar to the time when he realized that Ai’s murderer was alive. Kana might get caught up in the revenge plot as her importance with respect to Aqua was clearly established once again. After the three-weeks-long romance detour, it might be time for Aka to get back to the revenge plotline.
Although there’s a small possibility which is quite unlikely but not completely out of the question.The meeting might bring Aqua and Kana closer, only for Hikaru to shake things up sometime later.
