  1. #1 Best Public High Schools in Mobile CountyAlabama School of Mathematics and ScienceMobile, AL•Public School•10-12•Rating 4.78 out of 5 97 reviewsJunior: ASMS is the perfect place to dive deeper into your interests! There is a huge variety of classes for math, science, and history. Even if none of those are your main interest, there are plenty of opportunities to explore any field. As long as you are vaguely interested in math and science, ASMS is an amazing experience! We have a great art studio with painting, ceramics and metalworking; a research program where you can complete your own research, guided by teachers with experience; and exchange programs for German and Spanish. These are especially great if you're interested in where any of these fields connect. We also have a lot of clubs, including several community service clubs, diversity clubs, and a Model UN that participates in two Mobile area conferences! Boarding is such a great opportunity to seek help from and collaborate with your peers, while getting to hang out with your friends! You are surrounded by people who want to help you succeed, so help is always available.... Magnet schools have more rules and that won't work for all students. 13. #4 Best Public High Schools in Mobile CountyWP Davidson High SchoolMobile County Schools, AL•9-12•Rating 3.67 out of 5 289 reviewsSenior: The best part about attending Davidson High School has to be the sports I played. Football, basketball, baseball and track were the best. In football especially, this year we went to the playoffs for the first time in years and I was the defensive captain the entire year. We got a football stadium built and were the first class to play in the stadium. Davidson has never had a stadium in the history of the school. The worst part about Davidson would have to be the scheduling system. In my 4 years at Davidson we’ve had 3 different scheduling systems. Now we are on 7 periods a day with each class lasting 30-35mins. Personally I don’t think that is enough time for a teacher to teach and a student to learn. My hope is that they get the scheduling issue resolved. Other than that, Davidson was a great high school and I enjoyed my experiences there.... 15. #5 Best Public High Schools in Mobile CountySatsuma High SchoolSatsuma City, AL•7-12•Rating 4.41 out of 5 46 reviewsJunior: As a junior at satsuma I have experienced many ups and downs. I have gone to Satsuma Highschool since I began kindergarten and learned to love every detail about it. Though there are some negatives some times, the positive aspects of Satsuma Highschool over rule them. I have met some of my best-friends along with finding my love for sports. The teacher have made the biggest impact on me and the way I carry myself. One individual teacher that impacted me the most was Mrs. Jane DeGraaf. She taught me that having an opinion is okay and that I can be myself. Overall I have loved every minute of time I have spent at Satsuma Highschool.
